The Mothering Myself Podcast

Nov 18, 2019

Forgiveness is our superpower to release ourselves from the past. It’s a choice to forgive or to hold on to our anger, grudges, dislike, etc. But, when we hold on to the past with an inability to release ourselves from the energy of a person or an event we are stuck in our past.  This conversation considers forgiveness as a radical act of love for ourselves.

In each podcast episode authentic writings from previous journals are shared. This episode honestly revisits life as a 12 year old struggling with her place in her family and the tension that engulfed the family during this time period. Following, there is a piece from the same woman 14 years later revisiting her childhood with a matured compassion and forgiveness.

Plus, hear from a 30-year old anonymous member of our community who tackles what it means to ‘mother myself’ in her own words.
